Advisory & Growth  ·  Practice 01

Growth is a strategy, not a hope.

Founders rarely lack ambition or effort. What they lack is a go-to-market plan that survives contact with the market, the structure to hold it, and the capital to fund it.

Position

We are engaged when the next decision is expensive to get wrong.

This is the core of the firm. Most of our work begins with go-to-market — who you sell to, what you actually sell them, what it should cost, and in what order to take on each market. From there the plan tends to demand two other things quickly: structure strong enough to hold the volume once it arrives, and capital to fund the expansion.

Where a business is carrying cost it cannot see — in its revenue cycle, its vendor stack, its benefits plan, its equity — we name it and price the remedy. Every recommendation is tested the same way: does it reach the bottom line, and do the employees feel it?

Our advisory work is deliberately senior and deliberately small. We take a limited number of retained mandates so that the principal you meet is the principal who does the work.

Capabilities

01

Go-to-market strategy

Ideal client definition, positioning, offer and pricing design, channel selection, and the sequence in which to take each on. Written as a plan an operator can run on Monday.

02

Sales & revenue engineering

Pipeline architecture, proposal and pitch design, sales process and cadence, compensation, and the leading metrics that tell you early whether any of it is working.

03

Partnership & venture formation

Founder and partner alignment, contribution and vesting terms, governance, deadlock provisions, and the honest conversation about economics that most groups postpone until it is expensive.

04

Interim & fractional leadership

Senior strategy or revenue leadership on a defined term, in the seat, accountable for the plan — for businesses that need executive judgment without a full-time executive.

05

Structure & agreements

Entity architecture, operating and service agreements, IP holding companies that license to the operating entity, partner economics, and buy-sell terms drafted before the enthusiasm fades.

06

Operating discipline

Revenue cycle, vendor stack, margin leakage, and the reporting cadence that keeps a growing business honest with itself. Standing counsel to founders and partner groups through negotiation and restructuring.

Engagement

Advice you cannot implement is entertainment. Every recommendation we make arrives with the documents, the introductions, and the sequence required to execute it.

Axiom X — Advisory doctrine

  • Retained advisory — a fixed monthly mandate with defined scope and a named principal
  • Project engagement — diligence, structure, or documentation delivered to a fixed fee
  • Performance-aligned — reduced fee against a revenue share on measurable outcomes
  • Interim leadership — strategy or revenue leadership on a defined term
  • Second opinion — a single session on a decision already in motion

Enquiries

Bring us the decision you are losing sleep over.

A first conversation is confidential, unbilled, and candid. If the mandate is not ours, we will say so and point you to who should hold it.
