Private Wealth & Tax Strategy  ·  Practice 04

The tax bill is decided years before it is filed.

For families and family offices, the largest single expense is rarely a fee. It is tax paid unnecessarily because the structure was set after the growth, not before it.

Position

We are not your advisor. We are the person who makes sure your advisors are in the same room.

Our founder began his career in private wealth management, reading whole household balance sheets before offering an opinion. That is still the starting point here. Most high-net-worth families are not underserved — they are fragmented. The CPA files, the attorney drafts, the investment advisor allocates, and nobody holds the whole picture. The cost of that gap shows up on a return years later.

Axiom X coordinates the picture and then brings the right specialists to it, drawn from a network of licensed investment advisors, CPAs, estate counsel, and insurance specialists we have personally vetted and would put our own name behind. We are paid to be right about who should be in the room, not to sell what is in the room.

An important boundary, stated plainly: AxiomX, LLC is not a registered investment advisor, a law firm, or a CPA firm. We do not manage assets, prepare returns, or render tax or legal advice. Those services are provided by licensed professionals in our network under their own engagements, and any economic interest we hold is disclosed in writing before an introduction is made.

Strategies coordinated

01

Entity & ownership structure

How the enterprise is owned, where the IP sits, which entity licenses to which, and how income is characterized — designed before the growth arrives rather than untangled afterward.

02

Exit & liquidity planning

Pre-transaction structuring for a business sale, installment and earn-out treatment, QSBS eligibility, and the trust work that must be completed before a letter of intent is signed.

03

Owner retirement design

Cash-balance and defined-benefit plans layered over a 401(k), non-qualified deferred compensation, and profit-sharing designs that shelter meaningful income for principals.

04

Real estate tax strategy

Cost segregation and bonus depreciation, 1031 exchange sequencing, opportunity-zone treatment, and the real-estate-professional analysis — coordinated with the capital practice.

05

Charitable & legacy design

Donor-advised funds, charitable remainder and lead trusts, appreciated-asset gifting, and generational transfer structured so intent survives the transfer.

06

Family office & governance

Formation and staffing of single-family and embedded offices, consolidated reporting across entities and advisors, investment policy, and the family governance that keeps the next generation aligned.

How the network works

Wealth is rarely lost to a bad investment. It is lost to a structure nobody revisited, a document nobody updated, and four advisors who never spoke to each other.

Axiom X — Private wealth doctrine

  • Every partner is someone we have watched work — not a directory listing
  • Licensed, credentialed, and engaged directly by you under their own agreement
  • Axiom X coordinates; the specialist executes and carries the professional liability
  • Any referral economics disclosed in writing before an introduction is made
  • No product, no asset-management fee, and no proprietary fund on our side of the table
  • If your existing advisors are already doing this well, we will tell you and step back
